Controls Validation Engineer - Testing and Interoperability Stellantis - 3.9 Auburn Hills, MI Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Writing skills Presentations for conferences or internal meetings English Productivity software Cross-functional collaboration Full Job Description The Controls Validation Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced electrified powertrain systems. Operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, this position focuses on validating propulsion control software, isolating issues, and guaranteeing robust functionality across high-voltage charging systems and other powertrain systems.
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills, comfortable in a multi-cultural matrix organization Professional communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing) Interest in working on vehicles and various test benches.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Proficiency in network protocols Strong understanding of controls system and embedded software architectures Hands-on experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, and INCA tools Hands-on experience with Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow Knowledge of functional safety and hazard analysis
ISO 26262
Experience simulating CAN messages via CAPL Completion of regional high-voltage training courses Willingness to travel as needed in NA and internationally.
