Test Engineer

Job Title:

Test Engineer Job Description As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the completeness of the testing process during the In-Circuit Testing (ICT) phase. You will work with automated base testers to evaluate the actual circuits on the manufactured printed circuit boards (PCBs) and ensure all circuits are functioning correctly. You will also be responsible for training others on using test equipment, with a reduced learning curve if you have prior knowledge of circuit board testing components such as resistors and inductors. Responsibilities Ensure the testing process during the In-Circuit Testing phase is complete. Operate automated base testers for evaluating circuits on manufactured PCBs. Train personnel on the use of test equipment. Ensure all circuits on the board are working properly. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience as a test engineer. 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with circuit design or circuit analysis. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with base test equipment for assemblies. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Auburn Hills, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
