Senior Automation Test Engineer - Hybrid#26-06918 Charlotte, NC Hybrid Contract Starts 6/29/2026 Ends 12/28/2026 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer for a Hybrid position with a Major Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. This role focuses on automating test cases for post-trade back-office and trade flow processes within a Capital Markets environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing automation frameworks and scripts using Python or Java, coupled with strong SQL and a deep understanding of Fixed Ie and Derivatives. You will be a key member of an agile team, responsible for ensuring the quality ofplex data flows between various applications.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with development teams to review stories, vet new feature requirements, and estimate automation efforts Input test plans and scenarios into Xray and convert them into automated test scripts Perform impact assessments of all business requirements and any changes Maintain test artifacts including test plans, test cases, and automation scripts Participate in code reviews and contribute to CI/CD implementation, execution, and reporting

Requirements:

5-7 years of experience in application development or automation framework development using Python or Java Strong knowledge and coding experience in Python/Java to automate test cases for post-trade back office and trade flow Strong working knowledge of SQL to writeplex queries 2+ years of working knowledge developing test automation scripts for post-trade Fixed Ie Capital Markets data lineage Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks Prior experience working as a QE/SDET in agile/scrum teams Strong working knowledge of Fixed Ie and Derivatives BackOffice Testing and Capital Market experience Ability to understandplex data flows between various internal and external applications Demonstrated ability to identify and report risks and issues Pay range: up to $61.58 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
