Job Description
Position:
Testing Coordinator Job Goal:
To organize and implement the North Carolina testing program in accordance with the NC Testing Code of Ethics, North Carolina and federal laws, and Local Board of Education policies.Qualifications:
Master's Degree or higher from an accredited college/university with five years of teaching experience preferred NC Licensure in Administration and/or Supervision preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of the North Carolina State Testing Program Knowledge of online testing and management systems Knowledge of Exceptional Children, 504 and ML accommodationsDuties and Responsibilities:
Knowledge and interpretation of the test administrator's manuals, the testing code of ethics, and Testing Students with Disabilities / Testing Student Identified as Limited English Proficient manuals. Attend DPI trainings and update sessions Assist the Director of Testing with test trainings for all State and field testing and provide support for school test coordinators Assist with communication to stakeholders - notification of testing and test results Assist in the management of online test platforms for all State testing When applicable, scan and score state tests according to the procedures and guidelines defined by the test publisher Maintain quality control, test security, and confidentiality of student scores. Electronic transfer of files to NCDPI server Download online score reports and make available to school test coordinators Coordinate and manage online testing systems State Testing (examples:EOG, EOC, ACT, ACT
WorkKeys, ACCESS) Alternate Assessments Stay abreast of new policies, procedures and processes (State, Fed, and local) Performs other tasks and assumes additional responsibilities as assignedPhysical Requirements:
Repetitive lifting and sorting of heavy boxes up to 50 pounds Ability to sit for prolonged periods at times analyzing data and configuring reports on the computer Repetitive tasksSpecial Requirements:
Competency in computer skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite Workspace Strong organizational skills Good public relation skillsDISCLAIMERS
