This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing large-scale HVAC and building control systems across a campus environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, system troubleshooting, and working with advanced building automation technologies in a stable, long-term setting. Key Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize building automation and HVAC control systems across a large facility Modify and support control system programming, graphics, alarms, and trending Perform startup, commissioning, and system verification activities Troubleshoot field devices including sensors, wiring, controllers, and network communication Conduct preventive maintenance and point-to-point system checks Perform root cause analysis and recommend system improvements Support system backups, workstation setup, and user interface configuration Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time Provide basic system training and support to end users Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience with building automation systems (Client) / HVAC controls Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including AHUs, chillers, and central plant operations Experience with Client platforms such as Siemens, Johnson Controls, Trane, Alerton, or Automated Logic Familiarity with protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, or TCP/IP networking Ability to read and interpret drawings, sequences of operation, and technical documentation Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and ability to work in the field as needed Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
