Job Description:

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with a strong blend of automation and manual testing experience. This role focuses on building test strategies, automating test cases, and ensuring high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test cases (manual & automated)
• Analyze business and technical requirements and convert them into test scenarios
• Define and manage test data requirements
• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts
• Execute test cases, including regression testing for application updates
• Track, document, and report defects and test results
• Collaborate with developers and business teams for defect resolution and test optimization
• Manage test execution cycles, metrics reporting, and issue tracking
• Act as a liaison between business teams and development teams
• Work across multiple projects and environments simultaneously
• Participate in large, complex technology implementations

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation)
• 3-5 years of experience with test automation tools/frameworks
• Strong experience with: o Python o Visual Studio Code o Robot Framework o Git / GitLab
• Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira Align)
• Experience with web technologies, SQL, and client-server architecture
• Strong understanding of end-to-end system testing
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and provide on-call support

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Java technologies and web services
• Experience with stored procedures and middle-tier applications
• Knowledge of virtual environments
• Experience in banking domain (Retail Banking, Call Center, Credit Card Services)

Additional Notes:

• Strong multitasking ability across multiple projects
