Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer — Automotive Glazing

If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-first environment, this role lets you embed quality into every step of production. Role snapshot Lead the creation and deployment of quality control systems and processes. Execute audits and testing to verify compliance with internal standards and industry regulations. Drive defect reduction and capability improvement across production operations. Partner with engineering, production, and supply chain to investigate and resolve issues at the root cause.

Author and maintain quality documentation:

process flows, inspection plans/reports, corrective and preventive actions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Operations Management, Engineering Management, Quality Management, or a closely related field. Master's degree in quality management or a related discipline preferred. 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering or a related manufacturing function. Hands-on experience with Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis. Proven track record conducting audits, inspections, and testing programs.

Standards and methods Automotive frameworks:

IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VOA, APQP.

Core quality methods:

APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA.

Technical toolkit Manufacturing processes, product design fundamentals, and materials knowledge. Statistical analysis, problem-solving, and KPI/quality metric interpretation. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quality management platforms (ERP systems or SAP). Minitab or equivalent statistical software. Working knowledge of CAD and the ability to interpret engineering drawings is beneficial. Experience with OEM portals is a plus.
