Cincinnati, OH (Remote ) Job Summary Seeking a QA Lead•Test Specialist with experience in PC Insurance Domain (Mandatory) focusing on functional testing automation and quality assurance Collaboration Enablement Partners with Tech Lead BA Lead and Project ManagerProduct Owner to understand the project scope or product team initiatives and goals Attend PI and sprint planninggrooming sessions ensuring user stories are testable based on the acceptance criteria working with BA and PDC compliance or other product owner Ensure resourcework estimation is being done for the workstream delivery Understanding of unit and component level testing and results For some projects we may have the responsibility of performing the component level testing for example for APIs Ownership of the testing should be in the test plan Contribute to the product or project test plan Collaborates with E2E QA lead to ensure E2E test approach is included in the test plan reviewed and approved by team and stakeholders Responsible for traceability user stories to test cases and test tasks association of test execution results to test cases and associated defects Consulting with other QA teams from integrated systems to review test plans and test scenarios Ownership and reporting of test status for the workstream The cadence and level of reporting may depend on the project or workstream Facilitation and ownership of Defect Review Board meeting The way this is run and cadence depends on the projectproduct This could be handled in daily standups or may need to be a formal daily or weekly meeting Ownership and reporting of defect status for the team The cadence and level of reporting may depend on the team, it could be daily weekly test sign off at various stages The QA team lead should know the status of outstanding defects for the team regardless of ownership and is able to present status QA Team leads may need to track down owners to push for closure Provide risk assessment data intoout of system integration testing and user acceptance testing phases for work stream team Understanding of UAT test plan and responsible for ensuring proper creation and tracking of defects found in UAT for work stream team These should go through DRB Key partnership with Release Manager on change delivery and testing coordination Provide risk analysis management and escalation as necessary This includes identification and communication of impact due to any deviations in delivery and resourcing Escalation to project manager or product owner scrum master when encountering roadblocks Escalation to QA Lead as needed QA Delivery Operations Expert understanding of QA processes standards and templates This means ability to complete QA deliverables and train others on the same Understanding and ability to present QA strategy to product and project teams Understanding available tools and usage to meet QA deliverables Provide continuous improvement opportunities as found Performance ability to communicate and elicit Non-Functional Requirements Metrics Ensure data is input into monthly QA scorecard Analyze defect leakage provide root cause analysis and improvement plansSkills Mandatory Skills :
