All On-site Job Description This position will be 100% on site at Columbia Center in Portland Oregon in the TCR/ATM test lab. The position work hours will be 5 day a week M-F in office, 8am-5 pm with 2, 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break.
Outline of positions:
The two Quality Control Testers will be responsible for writing, executing, and reporting on test scripts for the new Teller platform software, which will now interface with Teller Cash Recyclers. Their work will include developing test scripts, perform test execution, and provide detailed feedback based on test results and observations. This project will span the full year of 2026 and requires testers to evaluate newly developed or acquired software against system requirements and documented specifications. Responsibilities include creating test plans, test cases/scripts, test reports, and evaluations. Testers may also assist with technical support activities such as software installation, troubleshooting, and general problem resolution. Additional duties include providing feedback to the development team, designing and refining testing scenarios and tools, and supporting various elements of the testing lifecycle. Testers will write and execute regression test plans for new software releases and document any discrepancies found. They are also expected to recommend and implement updates to test plans to ensure comprehensive coverage of all software functionality.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience Minimum of two years of experience designing, planning, and executing IT system testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality throughout all stages of the system lifecycle Teller banking, ATM, and or TCR experience is a plus. MS Office proficiency is a must-have Interview process: 2 or 3 rounds of interviews, depending on the applicants received Video, phone, and in-person could be used for the interview. The technical side of the interviews will cover the prospects knowledge on Quality Control, testing, banking platforms, and cash dispensing machines. U.S. Bank is seeking a Software Tester with IT quality assurance and project experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Writes and executes tests on newly developed or acquired software to evaluate its capabilities versus system requirements and documented specifications. Writes test plans, test cases/scripts, test reports and evaluations. May assist with technical support, software installation, problem solving and troubleshooting. Provides input to development group on findings. Designs and develops testing scenarios and support tools, and administers portions of the testing and support process. Writes and performs regression test plans on new software releases and reports discrepancies. Conceives and implements changes to the test plans to ensure that all software functions are thoroughly tested. Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's of Science degree or equivalent work experience

- Improving and maintaining (or replacing) existing automation frameworks/tests
- Being a strong influence on the Test Team's decision making and direction
- Designing and implementing automation tests cases
- Performing exploratory testing, identifying defects and co-ordinating resolution.
- Identifying and writing acceptance criteria for user stories
- Executing regression testing on software releases
- Review and validate findings, providing feedback and results to scrum team, scrum master and management.
- Issue test completion and sign-off documentation, ensuring no unexpected impacts to merchants or production system.
- Be an active participant in Agile ceremonies including daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint retrospective, sprint demo, backlog refinements etc.
- Assist other business area teams, monitoring and responding to inquiries and questions, tracking and logging calls relevant to test environment.
