Key Responsibilities:
Strong experience (5-8+ years) in device testing, wireless networking or broadband hardware. Perform end to end user experience testing of gateways, Wi-Fi extenders, and home networking devices, covering functional, performance, regression, and interoperability scenarios. Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts (Java, cucumber) to increase coverage and efficiency. Validate Wi Fi technologies including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, mesh networking, band steering, roaming, and wireless backhaul. Analyze and troubleshoot issues across end-to-end Work with protocols such as DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, NAT, TCP/UDP and other connectivity standards. Drive automation strategy, improve test processes, and contribute to continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Collaborate closely with development, product, and architecture teams to ensure high quality, stable releases. Conduct root cause analysis, identify quality gaps, and recommend improvements. Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and help shape test strategy at a product/feature level. Excellent communication, problem solving, debugging, and documentation skills.
