Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer #26-03716 Pittsburgh, PA Onsite Contract Starts 6/22/2026 Ends 12/31/2026 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. This role focuses on participating in the full quality assurance lifecycle, from reviewing documentation and performing code inspections to writing and executing both manual and automated test plans. The ideal candidate will work to ensure that all software products andponents meetpany standards and client requirements, interfacing directly with developers on test results.

Responsibilities:

Participate in the quality assurance process and follow procedures to ensure all software meetspany standards Perform code inspections, walk-throughs, design, and test-readiness reviews Review software and project documentation forpleteness and adnce to standards Plan, execute, and summarize reliability and validation test cases Interface with developers on test results Assist in audits and reviews Write and execute test plans and cases for testing of software

Requirements:

3 to 6 years of experience leading quality assurance projects or programs Experience in both manual and automated testing environments Proficiency in Java or JavaScript for automation scripting Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG Hands-on experience with IntelliJ IDE Proficiency using version control systems like GIT or Bitbucket Familiarity with JIRA for bug tracking and reporting Strong understanding of test data validation Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills Understanding of SDLC methodologies Desired skills: Experience with Junit or Karate Experience with MongoDB, SQL, and MySQL for test data validation Pay range: $35.00-40.00 per Hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
