Job Summary :
Software development in support of Jacobs projects and contracts for the US and foreign military aircraft and missions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Work scope may include the following duties: Contribute to a team of skilled engineers designing, building and maintaining thoroughly tested and stable software using a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE). Create, update and review test plans, test cases, test procedures and prepare test related artifacts to ensure readiness, accuracy and completeness for test execution Perform software testing at the appropriate level (ie, unit, integration, UI, etc) in tandem with the team's development activities and program schedule Track changes made to the software to ensure appropriate and timely regression testing is performed to verify changes do not adversely impact software behavior or performance, or introduce defects Support automated test activities, including development of scripts, tools or the employment of third-party products to provide automated test mechanisms Be willing to share knowledge through proactive creation of wikis and documentation to help the team Participate in daily stand-ups providing status updates and raise any technical issues with the rest of the team. Contribute to pull request reviews, system demos, planning meetings and retrospectives. Be able to switch and work on different projects as customer and program goals evolve. Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas Use judgment and originality by interpreting data; planning the work; and refining the methods and techniques being used Our teams work a compressed 9/80 schedule •This list is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities. Education Desired/Required:
Bachelor's degree in a related scientific or engineering discipline and 2 years of experience Knowledge, skills & abilities: Ability to apply basic and technical aspects of quality software testing at all levels during active software development, as well as integration and deployment Curious with a bias for action, problem solving, learning and experimentation, to include advancing automated test using modern technologies Analytical thinker who puts mission first and values product quality and end-user needs Collaborator with a willingness to work hard and contribute to the team Teammate with courage, respect for others, empathy, and intellectual humility Communicator, oral and written, who can simplify complicated information and effectively present to an audience

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
