Job Description:
The main function of a QA analyst is to develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. The analyst is responsible for developing test scripts, executing tests across web and mobile surfaces, and partnering with engineering, cross-functional and offshore teams to drive features from build to launch ensuring delivery is on time and to quality standards.Job Responsibilities:
- Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
- Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
- Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability.
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
- Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
- Maintain test artifacts (plans, sets, cases) and ensure they adhere to the standards established by the team.
- Coordinate test execution with offshore QA team
- ensure smooth handoffs, on-time completion, and quality of submitted results; step in to execute targeted regression coverage when partners lack access to specific tools or environments.

- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time across multiple concurrent projects.
- Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
- Knowledge of computer development software, such as Microsoft Visual Basic, Linux, JavaScript, etc.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tooling using Python, JavaScript.
- Practical experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude or comparable assistants) to accelerate QA workflows
- test case generation, defect triage, documentation, or workflow automation.
Strongly Preferred:
- Light scripting experience (Python, JavaScript) for test data setup, quick automation tasks, or AI-assisted tooling development.
- Demonstrated curiosity around emerging AI tools and a willingness to develop new AI-driven QA capabilities on the job.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field required.
