$38/hr On W2 (No C2C ) Job Summary Client is seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Kafka testing, API automation, Microservices validation, and backend testing . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing scalable automation frameworks, validating event-driven architectures, and ensuring quality across distributed systems. This role requires close collaboration with development, DevOps, and business teams within an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute automated test suites for APIs, microservices, and event-driven applications. Validate Kafka producer/consumer workflows and message integrity across distributed systems. Perform API testing using REST Assured, Karate Framework, Postman, Swagger, and SoapUI. Build and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber BDD, and Karate. Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities. Validate

payloads and perform backend data verification. Conduct database testing across Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, and DB2 environments. Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, GitHub/GitLab. Analyze logs and troubleshoot issues using Splunk and monitoring tools. Participate in Agile ceremonies, requirement reviews, defect management, and test planning.
