About Us:
We're a fast-growing company building modern Point of Sale (POS) software used by restaurant operators across the country. Our applications power everything from sleek instore experiences to backend management. With a diverse and evolving tech stack, we're always pushing for clean code, great UX, and scalable systems. Position Summary As our company and user base continues to grow, we are looking to enhance our internal Quality Assurance processes to ensure that we deliver high quality, highly reliable, solutions to our customers. This position will initially be responsible for implementing a QA process leveraging AI technologies and automations. This position shall engage with our level 2 support with a focus on troubleshooting, investigation, test case creation, validation, and overall system quality. Based on the skills and interests of applicants, there is an opportunity for this position to work with our development team. This can include increasing levels of responsibility with a variety of technologies including Jave, Swift, Objective-C, Angula and Vue.js among others. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of AI and the ability to apply that knowledge in practical ways. They should be able to think through test scenarios independently, create test cases on their own, identify edge cases, and use AI tools where helpful to strengthen analysis, coverage, and QA efficiency. Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively within the realms of technical support and development Investigate software issues and help determine the likely cause Reproduce bugs and unexpected system behavior Create, maintain, and execute test cases for product features, workflows, and releases Think through normal, exception, and edge-case scenarios to improve testing coverage Use strong AI knowledge to evaluate workflows, identify testing opportunities, and improve QA effectiveness Use AI tools where helpful to support research, issue analysis, documentation, and test planning Validate fixes once they are completed by the appropriate team Perform regression testing and general system QA Test overall system behavior for reliability, consistency, and usability Gather clear diagnostic details from users and internal teams Participate in support calls when needed to better understand and document reported issues Document findings, test results, recurring patterns, and recommendations clearly Qualifications Experience in QA, software testing, technical support, systems analysis, or a similar role Ability to create and execute test cases independently Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills Ability to investigate issues and identify likely root causes Strong knowledge of AI concepts, tools, and practical use cases Ability to apply AI knowledge to improve testing, issue investigation, and system evaluation Excellent attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable handling support tickets and occasional calls Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow issues through validation Nice to Have Experience with ticketing systems or bug tracking tools Experience testing business software, operational systems, or POS-related workflows Familiarity with regression testing and issue reproduction Experience using AI tools for analysis, summarization, or documentation Basic knowledge of software environments, system behavior, or configurations Ability to review logs, API responses, and other technical details during issue investigation Exposure to QA automation, scripting, or other process improvement tools Work Environment This role is intended to be primarily on-site to support hands-on investigation, testing, collaboration, and operational awareness, with some remote flexibility depending on business needs and experience level.
