This role involves both manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on validating data integrity, backend processes, and application functionality. Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for .NET-based applications Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing Validate data accuracy by writing and executing SQL queries against databases Identify, document, and track defects through resolution Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives in an Agile environment Develop and maintain automated test scripts where applicable Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance Hands-on experience testing .NET applications (ASP.NET, .NET Core, or similar) Strong knowledge of SQL (writing complex queries, joins, data validation) Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or similar) Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST APIs) Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams Basic understanding of C# or .NET development concepts Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines Important Skills Strong attention to detail Effective communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work independently and in a team environment Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Nice to Have Experience with performance or load testing tools Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS) Experience testing microservices architecture
