About the Role The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the Quality Manager in preparing quality data, resolving quality issues, strengthening systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a key part in monitoring quality performance, managing corrective and preventive actions, coordinating audits, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and certifications. You will collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and leadership teams to identify trends, suggest solutions, and improve overall product and process quality. Key Responsibilities Quality Metrics & Data Analysis Monitor KPIs and quality objectives using data analysis tools such as Excel Analyze product quality trends, cost of quality, and corrective action effectiveness Communicate significant trends or risks Prepare reports for the Quality Manager and management team Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement Identify improvement opportunities and support implementation of corrective or preventive actions Coordinate CAPA activities, containment actions, and investigations Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality system updates Audit & Compliance Support Participate in internal audits and assist with auditor training Serve as a resource during customer and certification body audits Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and company procedures Quality Operations Support Assist with RMA reviews and investigations Assist with tracking non-conformances, quality alerts, scorecards, and customer satisfaction metrics Log and track action items through completion and verify effectiveness Qualifications Required Associate's degree or equivalent experience Experience in manufacturing quality or related field Strong administrative and problem-solving skills Ability to interpret procedures, reports, and metrics Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and ability to learn new software systems Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Training or coursework in Quality Management Systems Experience supporting audits, CAPA, or compliance programs Who We're Looking For Organized, detail-oriented self-starter Strong communicator comfortable working with diverse teams Motivated team player who can work independently Data-driven mindset with interest in metrics and continuous improvement Passion for lean manufacturing and process efficiency What We Offer Opportunities for career advancement Supportive team environment focused on collaboration Benefits include medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, Life, LTD, 401(k) & matching, paid time off, tuition reimbursement Employee will be eligible for the profit share bonus
