SDET / QA
Automation Engineer in Mount Laurel, NJ (Hybrid
  • 4 days onsite/week) to support advanced automation and validation efforts across network and cable technology environments.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure high-quality delivery of complex systems and services. In this role, you will be responsible for developing automation solutions, microservices, and test scripts to validate end-to-end system behavior. You will build scalable automation frameworks using Python, JavaScript, and modern tools, while creating scripts to simulate network traffic and validate performance across endpoints. The position requires designing comprehensive test strategies, executing functional, integration, and regression testing, and validating APIs and microservices. You will also work on Proof of Concepts, participate in client demos, and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance automation capabilities. Additionally, you will ensure code quality, integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines, and perform root cause analysis to improve product reliability, while maintaining documentation and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong programming expertise in Python and JavaScript, along with hands-on experience in NodeJS and Golang. A solid understanding of API testing using REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON is required, along with experience using tools such as Postman. Familiarity with automation frameworks like Mocha and version control platforms such as GitHub is essential. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of networking and cable domains, including IMS architecture and SIP protocols, along with excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
