Full-time We are hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in mobile testing (iOS & Android) and test automation. This role focuses on building scalable automation frameworks , executing end-to-end testing , and ensuring high-quality releases across: Mobile apps (iOS and Android) Embedded Linux devices (Java / Qt applications) This is a hands-on SDET-style role (Software Development Engineer in Test) combining automation coding + manual testing + device validation . What You'll Do Perform end-to-end testing (E2E) across mobile apps, IoT devices, and cloud systems Execute regression testing, smoke testing, functional testing, and exploratory testing Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for mobile (Appium), web (Selenium), and APIs (pytest or similar) Write clean, maintainable automation code (Python, Bash, or similar) Test iOS and Android mobile applications , including UI, API, and integration layers Validate embedded Linux devices (thermostats) including UI, sensors, WiFi, BLE, and connectivity Use Linux CLI for debugging, log analysis, and troubleshooting Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar) Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and QA documentation Log, track, and verify defects using standard bug tracking tools Collaborate with engineering, product, and offshore QA teams Improve QA processes, automation coverage, and release quality metrics Required Qualifications 3-7+ years of experience in QA Automation, SDET, or Software Test Engineering Strong experience with test automation frameworks (Appium, Selenium, pytest, Robot Framework, etc.) Hands-on experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android) Experience writing automation scripts/code (Python, Java, or similar) Strong proficiency in Linux (command line, debugging, logs) Experience with API testing, backend validation, and end-to-end system testing Understanding of software testing methodologies, test design, and regression strategies Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with embedded Linux systems and device testing Familiarity with Java and/or Qt applications Knowledge of networking fundamentals (WiFi, BLE, TCP/IP) Experience working with hardware devices, sensors, and connectivity testing Experience in Agile/Scrum environments Experience coordinating with remote/offshore QA teams Location Hybrid
