Job Description
Linux Test Automation Technical Leader - e
Drive improvements to features, tools, workflows, and automation processes.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.
Contribute ideas and solutions for product enhancements and technical iterations.
Collaborate effectively with global software engineering teams across multiple time zones.
Required QualificationsBE/BTech or ME/MTech in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.8+ years of experience in software development, verification, and validation.
Strong programming skills in C, Python (including design patterns), Go, and familiarity with Debian fundamentals.
Experience developing automation frameworks or Test Manager solutions.
Experience working with emulators and virtualized test environments.
Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tooling.
Ability to create test cases from highlevel and lowlevel requirements, including understanding of test input variations.
Experience using automation frameworks and tools such as LAVA, PyTest, Git, Jira, and Linuxbased development environments.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis - without requirement for any type of visa sponsorship/transfer, now, or at any time in future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
Must be a local resident of Greater Austin, TX or willing to relocate.
Good to Have (Preferred Qualifications)Experience working with AWS or other cloud environments.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
In-depth Linux knowledge, including kernel concepts and system internals.
Experience contributing to or testing open-source projects.
Soft SkillsStrong analytical and debugging skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse engineering teams.
Clear communication and documentation skills.
