A tech services company is seeking a Test Lead in Houston, TX to oversee automation testing for a consumer-facing connectivity platform. This hybrid role combines hands-on Selenium and API test development with test planning, execution, and team leadership. About the

Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day QA and testing activities for automation initiatives across UI and backend services Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and API testing tools Define test strategies, automation frameworks, and execution plans aligned with project goals Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test scenarios, validate requirements, and improve coverage Track test progress, manage defects, report quality metrics, and mentor junior testers on automation best practices
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Software Testing with a focus on Automation Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Java or Python, and API Testing tools, such as Postman or RestAssured Experience creating automation frameworks from scratch or enhancing existing frameworks Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Version Control systems, and Defect Tracking tools Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work full-time onsite in
Houston, TX Desired Skills:
Experience testing Wi-Fi systems or working in the airline domain Exposure to cloud testing environments such as AWS or Azure and containerized deployments such as Docker or Kubernetes Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
