• SDET for a position based in Woonsocket, RI, USA.

This role requires working onsite and focuses on building scalable automation frameworks and ensuring high-quality software delivery for modern backend, API, and web applications. In this role, the Automation Test Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks that support backend systems, APIs, and web platforms. The position involves collaborating closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define testing strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage across the application lifecycle. The candidate will create and execute automated test scripts, integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities also include analyzing test results, identifying defects, and working with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. The role will contribute to building reliable automation solutions that support scalable testing across multiple environments while promoting best practices in test design, automation architecture, and software quality. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in test automation development using programming languages such as Java or Python, along with hands-on expertise in automation frameworks including Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or REST Assured. Strong understanding of API testing, CI/CD tools, and version control systems such as Git is essential. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, test-driven development, and modern software development lifecycle practices is also important. Additional exposure to cloud platforms, performance testing tools, containerization technologies, or security testing concepts will be considered advantageous.
