Business Development - Test Technologist Advantest America United States, Texas, Austin May 11, 2026
Job Description:
The "Business Development -- Test technologist" role is strategic leadership position, working with the sales, application engineering, and product development teams to grow and protect our High Performance Compute business. By partnering with and growing relationships with key employees of our lead customers, you will become a trusted advisor in providing the best-in-industry test solutions. Success in this role is measured by design wins, which promote business growth within our lead customers. Accountable for: gathering customer requirements (design, scoping, and technical validity) and translating these into actionable Advantest deliverables. Responsible for: broad understanding of customer future products and test strategies, and supporting the technical sales of those strategies. An ideal position for an experienced Semiconductor industry leader or with strong marketing skills and knowledge of the semiconductor compute market.
Responsibilities:
Technical device analysis and understanding of digital test methodologies, including the latest DFT techniques. Gap analysis, reviewing the fit of available ATE solutions to the target customer devices. Creating detailed, working relationships, and open communication with senior managers within Advantest and the customer. Technical presentation and whitepaper development, for customer introduction to digital ATE solutions. Market and test requirement trend analysis. Mapping top-down sales objectives to target device and design wins, partnering with Advantest business units to achieve these objectives.
Travel:
Approximately 20% travel to various customer and Advantest sites, when possible
