The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products across various platforms, including mobile and web applications. This role requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies, automation tools, and continuous integration processes to deliver reliable and high-performance solutions. The Test Engineer will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to identify issues early in the SDLC and support release management activities. Responsibilities Develop and execute detailed test cases, scripts, and plans for functional, system, performance, load, regression, and user acceptance testing. Perform root cause analysis on defects identified during testing phases; collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues related to code bugs or system failures. Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and release management activities ensuring quality standards are met before deployment. Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, defect reports, and test environments using tools like HP ALM or Jira. Participate in requirements gathering sessions to understand business needs; translate these into effective test strategies Experience 2-3 years' experience as test engineer in electrical manufacturing industry Strong knowledge of PCBA testing, function test systems and Automated test equipment Hands on experience with test development, trouble shooting and failure analysis Proficiency in python, C/C++ or other scripting languages used for test automation Familiarity with test instruments such as millimeters, power supplies, electronic loader, RF analyzers or ICT/FCT equipment Ability to debug hardware issues, and work closely with design and manufacturing teams Experience developing test procedures, test fixtures, and test documentation Strong analytical skills, problem solving mindset Must be able to meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance requirements, including eligibility to access controlled technical data (U.S. Person status as defined by ITAR may be required)
