Job Description
Summary:
The Quality Assurance Analyst II is responsible for applying Quality Assurance and Release Management principles to test application changes, updates, and enhancements. This role collaborates with Clinical, Revenue Cycle, Technical Leaders, Project Managers, and Analysts to ensure system quality and reliability. The analyst develops, evaluates, revises, and documents QA processes, testing methodologies, and release management procedures to support successful implementation, integration, and deployment of information systems applications.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Information Technology, or a related field; ORFour (4) years of related IT or operational experience in a healthcare environment.
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive healthcare IT or healthcare operations experience.
Experience managing QA efforts for large, enterprise-wide software implementations.
Demonstrated experience with application testing, workflow analysis, and release management processes.
Working knowledge of integrated healthcare information systems.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing frameworks, and release management practices.
Knowledge of healthcare information systems and workflows.
Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage medium-complexity QA initiatives independently.
Working knowledge of information technology systems, applications, operations, and support processes.
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Epic application certification or proficiency.
Experience supporting Epic-related testing and implementation efforts.
