Design and execute ETL testing strategies to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across source systems, staging tables and target data warehouses. Perform source-to-target data validation by comparing data between source databases, staging tables and target tables using SQL Server and Oracle databases. Develop and execute complex SQL queries involving joins, subqueries, aggregations, window functions and data reconciliations to validate record counts, data completeness, accuracy, transformation rules and business logic. Validate data mappings and schema integrity including data types, field lengths, null checks, default values and constraints as per ETL design documents and business requirements. Ensure data quality validations including duplicate detection, referential integrity, primary/foreign key relationships and exception handling. Collaborate closely with data engineers, DBAs, business analysts and stakeholders to understand data flows, transformation logic and business requirements. Log and track ETL defects using Azure DevOps, providing detailed SQL evidence, test results, and data snapshots for faster resolution. Design, develop and maintain UI automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java, following Page Object Model (POM) and hybrid/BDD framework principles. Implement BDD automation using Cucumber with Gherkin feature files; enable strong collaboration with business analysts and product owners.
