Job Description

About the Role
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Lea d specializing in Playwright to spearhea d enterprise-scale test automation initiatives and lea d QA automation strategy across complex applications.
This role involves designing scalable automation frameworks, mentoring QA engineers, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across web platforms. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to ensure release quality and testing efficiency.
  • Responsibilities
  • Drive enterprise-scale test automation initiatives.
  • Lea d QA automation strategy across complex applications.
  • Design scalable automation frameworks.
  • Mentor QA engineers.
  • Ensure high-quality software delivery across web platforms.
  • Implement and scale Playwright automation in enterprise environments with CI/CD integration.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Debug, perform root-cause analysis, and solve problems in fast-paced Agile environments.
  • Education Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Required Skills
  • Deep expertise in Playwright and modern test automation frameworks.
  • Strong hands-on coding ability and excellent analytical thinking.
  • Ability to influence automation best practices organization-wide.
  • Strong knowledge of UI, API, regression, integration, and cross-browser testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, test framework architecture, and automation design patterns.
  • Experience integrating Playwright with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, and reporting frameworks.
  • Knowledge of performance testing, API automation, test data management, and cloud-based test execution platforms.
  • Demonstrated lea dership qualities, ownership mindset, logical reasoning skills, and a passion for continuous improvement in software quality engineering.
  • Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience working in the Utility industry is preferred.
