Description:
The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions for client. This role ensures software quality, reliability, and performance through scalable test automation strategies and close collaboration with engineering teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications or licenses. 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and automated test scripting. Experience with Playwright, Artillery, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions. Strong understanding of Agile, TDD, and BDD methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Design and implement automated test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing. Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools such as Playwright and Artillery. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality validation. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX teams to define testing strategies and acceptance criteria. Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and document findings. Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate software defects effectively. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to process improvements. Attend work consistently and perform other related duties as assigned.
