VIS is seeking an Assessment/Psychometrics Evaluator to support our new mission in San Antonio, TX. The Assessment/Psychometrics Evaluator role is to support the Medical Trauma Training Industry.
What You'll Do:
Provide Assessment and Psychometric support services to design, develop, validate, and maintain testing and evaluation instruments that measure student learning, training effectiveness, and program outcomes. The Contractor shall apply psychometric methods, statistical analysis, and educational measurement principles to ensure assessments are valid, reliable, fair, and aligned to learning objectives. Telework may be available depending on agency policy and the ability to fulfill the requirements below. Approximately 0-5% of travel may be required. The contractor shall perform the following tasks: Develop and validate assessment instruments measuring cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains across trauma training programs. Develop written, practical, and scenario-based assessments Support data-driven updates to curriculum based on assessment trends and readiness gaps; and update and refine assessments based on data and feedback. Provide quarterly assessment effectiveness reports to the JTET Program Manager and Quality Assurance Lead. Maintain secure databases of testing results and ensure compliance with DHA data protection policies.
What You Bring:
Master's degree in psychology, Educational Measurement, or related field 3 to 5 years' experience in test/assessment development. Expertise in psychometric analysis, item writing, and validation. Knowledge of statistical software (SPSS, R); ability to design and evaluate exams for reliability and validity
