Contract Position Overview Seeking a highly experienced Lead Technical Architect / Technical Lead to lead complex credit risk testing and automation initiatives within a large-scale enterprise banking environment. This role requires a hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in credit card systems, credit risk integrations, automated testing frameworks, and enterprise application architecture. The ideal candidate has successfully led multiple mid-to-large scale custom implementation projects and can oversee end-to-end execution across architecture, development, testing strategy, and automation delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead execution for complex enterprise technical projects focused on credit risk and credit card testing initiatives Oversee and coordinate coding, automation, and testing activities across technical teams Design and implement reusable automated testing frameworks and processes to reduce time-to-market Review, plan, and automate credit risk testing scripts and integrate them into enterprise test plans Break down complex credit risk testing scenarios into scalable automated workflows Develop prototypes and evaluate technical alternatives for enterprise applications and integrations Collaborate with architecture teams to design scalable, secure, and efficient systems and applications Establish technical direction, standards, and best practices for development and testing teams Mentor and guide senior and lead developers through project execution and delivery Ensure alignment with SDLC, enterprise architecture, compliance, and quality standards Required Qualifications Proven experience leading and managing 3-5 mid-to-large custom implementation projects Strong background as a: Lead Developer Technical Lead Solutions Architect IT Architect Enterprise Architect Deep experience with: Credit card systems Credit risk integrations Automated testing frameworks Enterprise test automation Experience creating reusable automation processes and scalable testing strategies Strong understanding of: SDLC Enterprise application architecture Systems integration Test strategy and execution Experience leading distributed technical teams and coordinating development activities Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience within banking, financial services, or fintech environments Experience supporting enterprise-scale risk platforms Knowledge of CI/CD and modern automation tooling Familiarity with enterprise compliance and regulatory testing environments Experience working in Agile delivery models Ideal Candidate Profile Hands-on technical leader capable of driving architecture and execution Strong blend of technical depth and leadership capability Experienced in high-volume enterprise financial systems Able to drive automation initiatives that improve efficiency and scalability Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, QA, architecture, and business stakeholders
