Automation Tester with Playright

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright Execute automated and manual test cases for web applications Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines Identify, log, and track defects using test management and defect tracking tools Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing Ensure test coverage across multiple browsers (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit) Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing best practices Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience with Playwright (JavaScript or TypeScript) Solid understanding of test automation frameworks Experience with web technologies : HTML, CSS, JavaScript Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.) Knowledge of version control systems (Git) Experience testing REST APIs (Postman, Playwright API testing preferred) Understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and Agile methodologies Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Gherkin) Knowledge of performance or accessibility testing Experience with Docker or cloud-based testing solutions Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or similar tools
