Header Overview Join our innovative team as a ServiceNow Developer specializing in IT Service Management (ITSM) and automation! Responsibilities Develop, customize, and implement ServiceNow modules focusing on ITSM processes such as incident, problem, change, and request management. Automate workflows using scripting languages like JavaScript and Ruby on Rails to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via RESTful APIs, leveraging tools like GitHub, SVN, and other version control systems for seamless deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with organizational goals. Maintain and enhance the platform's security features through role-based access control (RBAC) and other security best practices. Support application development initiatives utilizing technologies such as .NET, C#, Python, Java, C++, VBA, and SQL to extend ServiceNow capabilities. Participate in Agile development cycles, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and continuous improvement efforts. Requirements Proven experience developing on the ServiceNow platform with a strong focus on ITSM modules and automation tools. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components including cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Python, C#, C++, VBA, Java, and C for application customization and integration. Hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs for system integrations; familiarity with API management best practices. Knowledge of web development frameworks including React Express for building user interfaces and front-end components. Experience working within Agile environments using tools like GitHub, SVN, Git for version control; familiarity with Linux environments is a plus. Strong background in database management using MySQL or SQL Server; understanding of database design principles is essential. Familiarity with application development across multiple platforms including Windows (.NET), Linux, and cloud services such as AWS or Azure. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders; excellent problem-solving skills are essential.
