Description:
This Quality Assurance Analyst IV position in the Application Development and Support Section (within the Bureau of Information Technology Services) is responsible for championing stability, availability, and reliability of applications developed by the bureau and released to users. The contractor is expected to contribute to the design, development, and support of test solutions by developing and implementing quality assurance standards and processes aligned with the strategy and business objectives of the Department of Health Services, leading to more effective software development. Provision of leadership in testing techniques/best practices is required. The contractor is required to work closely with customers, management, staff, and service providers to ensure business needs are being met with high quality. The contractor is expected to be an example of leadership, collaborative teamwork, and customer service. Preparation & communication of status reports, position papers, diagrams, process flows, cost estimates, and estimates of effort will be required. Related activities include requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, planning, testing, training, implementation, support and maintenance.
