Job Description

Data-mining Analyst Profession:
Data-mining City:
Atlanta, USA We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data-mining Analyst to join our team in Atlanta. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that can drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics and data analysis, as well as experience working with complex databases and programming languages such as SQL and Python.
Responsibilities:
  • Collect and organize large sets of data from various sources
  • Use statistical methods to analyze data and identify patterns
  • Create visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights
  • Develop algorithms and models to predict future trends based on current data
  • Continuously monitor and improve data quality
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in data analysis or related role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages used for data manipulation
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools such as SAS or R
  • Knowledge of data mining techniques such as clustering, regression analysis, and decision trees
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about complex problems
  • Strong communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
Salary:
$900 per week (with potential for increase based on performance)
Location:
This position is open to both local candidates in Atlanta as well as Canadians looking for work in the USA. Accommodation can be provided for Canadian candidates if needed.
