Position Job Description:

PioneerTech is seeking an experienced SAS Consultant to support analytics, reporting, and advanced statistical solutions across enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with both SAS Viya and SAS 9.4 environments, along with the ability to work closely with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality analytical insights. Mandatory Requirements Candidates must meet all of the following: Hands-on experience with SAS Visual Analytics and SAS Visual Statistics on SAS Viya Strong working knowledge of SAS 9.4, including SAS Office Analytics Experience using Enterprise Miner and/or Enterprise Test Software (ETS) Proficiency with SAS MS Office Connector (Excel, Word, PowerPoint integration) Ability to perform data analysis, statistical modeling, and result interpretation Experience supporting enterprise-scale analytical environments Strong understanding of data accuracy, validation, and reporting standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills Active DoD Secret Clearance (Minimum) Education & Certification Requirements Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (Equivalent professional experience may be accepted) CompTIA Security+ certification is required to ensure baseline cybersecurity knowledge and compliance with security best practices. One (1) or more of the following SAS certifications (Base SAS, Advanced Analytics, Viya) Experience Requirements Minimum 5+ years of SAS development/analytics experience At least 2+ years working in SAS Viya environments Proven experience working with large, complex datasets Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Requirements These are not required but will strengthen a candidate's profile: Prior consulting experience Exposure to regulated industries (Department of War, Government, etc.) Experience with model validation, performance tuning, or data governance Familiarity with migration or co-existence of SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain analytical solutions using SAS Visual Analytics and SAS Visual Statistics on SAS Viya Develop and support reporting and analytics using SAS 9.4-based SAS Office Analytics Build, validate, and deploy models using Enterprise Miner and/or Enterprise Test Software (ETS) Integrate SAS analytics with Microsoft Office applications using the SAS MS Office Connector Perform data analysis, statistical modeling, and results interpretation Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and compliance with enterprise standards Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and user support as needed Why Join PioneerTech?
