Position Summary:
As our Document Control Specialist , you will be the primary gatekeeper for all engineering documentation. You will be responsible for processing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and ensuring all critical data, including Bills of Material (BOMs) and Manufacturing Routers—is accurately entered and maintained in our ERP system. This role is critical for ensuring our manufacturing team is always working with the correct technical data, maintaining our AS9100 configuration management and ITAR compliance. This position reports to the Sr. Manufacturing Engineer and provides direct support to the engineering and operations teams. This position reports to the Production Manager .
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent AS degree is a plus. Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) due to ITAR regulations. 1-2+ years of experience in document control, data entry, or configuration management role within a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications is highly preferred. Proficiency with an MRP/ERP system (Syspro preferred) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace. Exceptional attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills. Strong understanding of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Bill of Material (BOM) structures. Are You Our Next ACE? Manage and process all internal and customer Engineering Change Notices (ECNs/ECOs) from initiation to closure. Create, enter, and maintain accurate Bills of Material (BOMs) and Manufacturing Routers in the Syspro ERP system. Ensure all open jobs affected by an ECN have their documentation updated in coordination with Planning and Engineering. Maintain the engineering library, including all technical specifications, standards, and books. Prepare and release all documentation (travelers, drawings, specs) for new jobs, coordinating with the Planning department. Provide clerical and administrative support to the estimating, planning, and engineering functions as required. Manage the Customer Request for Quote (CRF) process as needed. Ensure all documentation and change management processes are compliant with AS9100 and ITAR standards. Collaborate with all departments (Engineering, Planning, Quality) to ensure data is accurate and changes are communicated effectively. Work independently and efficiently to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour . Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision. This position is eligible for a $2.00 per hour shift differential for working on the 2nd shift.
