United States, California, Naval Air Station Point Mugu Jun 06, 2026 Configuration Data Management Job Locations US-CA-Point Mugu Req No. 2026-2017 Category Analyst Type Regular Full-Time Clearance Level Secret Overview BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking a Data Manager with 3+ years of experience to provide on-site guidance and support to development teams at Point Mugu. Salary The typical annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 USD to $85,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range. Responsibilities Coordinate between Configuration Manager / Product Owners to facilitate Software and Hardware releases Develop configuration /Data management plans and engage customers and stakeholders to secure consensus for envisioned changes and support Establish, develop, and implement Hardware change processes / Inventory control (configuration identification, control, data library/repository, configuration audits and product release and delivery, etc.) Continuously work with development teams to ensure all change control processes are being followed and requests are being properly handled Maintain an application of Data management database and libraries for each project Maintain and publish production Release to support deliveries of Domestic and FMS items with shipping and receiving Apply communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues on all product deliveries Mentor and provide Data management guidance to the staff Qualifications Minimum of three (3) years' experience as defined in the Functional Description Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening-for staff, customer, and organizational level communications, both formal and informal Ability to work independently, self-starter Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Desired Experience Three (3) years of aircraft systems data management experience is a plus Three (3) years of aircraft systems configuration management experience is a plus
EDUCATION
Degree:
BS or BA degree in a computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline.
Allowable Substitution:
An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant associate degree

Secret Condition of Employment:
Applicant must have an active DoD Secret Clearance. The applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
