DUTIES:

Responsible for the design, build, testing, maintenance, training and support of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system by carrying out day-to-day support related activities. Perform complex design and analysis related to the hospital business operations. Function as an exceptional team member to collaborate on application and system level projects. Independently performs maintenance and system upgrade tasks at a level requiring minimal oversight. Communicate regularly with key stakeholders and leadership and act as a subject matter expert (SME) for operations when working with IT. Oversee analysts' application for multiple large scale, complex initiatives at one time. Follow established guidelines for system change control. Identify potential system enhancement needs. Maintain system documentation to enable ongoing support of the system. Proactively identify impact of changes upon other applications and downstream systems. Proactively and productively partner with integrated groups and other applications to fulfill operational needs. Mentor Analysts and Associate Analysts.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Information Technology, or related fields, plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or related field. EHR system design, build and maintenance; System change control; Change impact analysis and review; Workflow optimization. Occasional travel to Prime facilities throughout the U.S. for Epic implementation approximately 2-3 times per year for no more than 30 days in any go-live site. Prime Healthcare Management Inc.
