Job Summary -- Essential Functions/Duties A CM Specialist III performs work that is varied and complex in nature in one or more specialty area of CM or engineering data. Employee will be responsible to perform the following functions/duties: Analyze engineering change proposals
Monitor contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure the applications of customer and industry standards and requirements for statements of work are properly implemented
Design, develop, and establish CM documentation based on program requirements
Participate in design reviews, audits, scheduling, budgeting, and related activities
Identify requirements and coordinate development and implementation of computer-based configuration, data management systems, and electronic data support
Assist in facilitating Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings with program/project personnel
May provide work direction to subordinate work unit personnel
Perform other job-related duties, as required. Other Responsibilities Each employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to their job. Working Conditions Work is primarily sedentary in an office environment. Some walking, stooping, bending, climbing stairs, stretching, and lifting (up to 25 pounds) is required for such purposes as filing and gathering supplies. Frequent use of a computer is required. Travel to remote company work locations may be required. Requirements -- Education, Technical, and Work Experience A bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field, or a combination of formal training and six years of directly related CM experience are required for this position. In addition, a CM Specialist III must possess the following qualifications: Proficient in computer operations, word processing, and integrated software applications, including electronic data management systems (EDMS)
Effective verbal and written communication skills

JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
This position is the on-site technical specialist for monitoring information systems and maintaining the environment of operation to include developing and updating System Security Plans, managing and controlling changes to the systems, conducting audits, providing incident response, perpetration for vulnerability assessments, and assessing the security impact of security and non-security-relevant changes. Provides incident handling in conjunction with the FSO and
ISSO/ISSM.
Assists in writing and maintaining computer security processes to meet Air Force requirements of Risk Management Framework. Monitors computer system use and audits logs. Makes recommendations for future hardware / software implementations and related process improvements. This position requires skills in leadership, team building and customer service. Provides operational status as required. Uses established policies and procedures and subject matter knowledge to complete complex assignments requiring originality and ingenuity performed under minimum supervision with considerable latitude for independent contribution. Provides security training and awareness briefings. Must be proficient working in a RMF environment Must know how to develop ATO packages Other duties as assigned.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is required to implement management initiatives and to coordinate upgrades, capabilities, policy and procedures with other organizations. Each employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to their job.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Associates or higher degree in Computer/Information Technology, or equivalent academic/technical training/certification. Possess 2-3 years of experience in computer system security and/or related areas of expertise. Must be compliant to DoD 8570.01-M levels and possess or working toward Security+ certification with a CISSP desired. Should have experience with
JSIG, NIST
800 and NISPOM, Chapter 8. Must possess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in computer security and information systems and working experience with Microsoft Office, Access, and Visio. Possess experience supporting various system configurations such as Stand Alone, Local Area Networks, and Wide Area Networks. Employee must possess excellent skills in verbal and written communications, planning, and organizing, and be able to work under deadlines. JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Working in a support role, performs duties involved in the development, testing, implementation of operating system and related software. Makes upgrades, expands and/or maintains existing PC computer system and provides admin support for a Windows based server. Provides problem solving of specific issues to computer users as required. Evaluates system specifications and insures hardware / software compatibility and maintains workstations and MS Windows Operating Systems for stable performance. Loads technical application software, with specific configurations, standard templates and interfaces. Performs the daily operation of MS Windows Server software to include system security, appropriate access, configuration and backing up the system. Installs the latest drivers and insures output devices are working properly. Organizes and secures directory structure per project and organizational requirements and performs data recovery as required. Understands the basics of HTML and maintains web enabled applications in support of Information Technology requirements.
Configures hardware such as:
workstations, printers, servers and tape drives and maintains a Computer Authorization and Custodial Receipt Listing (CA/CRL) to track equipment configurations and identification logs. Administers server deployment of applications and respective incremental licensing. Serves as POC for problem reporting, and monitors yearly support contract. Understands the basics of document management and supports engineering and manufacturing customers in the electronic access, publishing, viewing and printing plotting of project files. Uses established policies and procedures and subject matter knowledge to complete routine assignments performed under general supervision with appreciable latitude for independent contribution.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Associates or higher degree in Information Technology, or equivalent academic/technical training. Possess 3 years related experience or combination of experience in computer system basics and/or related areas of expertise. Must possess a basic knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in computer science, graphics, and information systems. Must have specific experience in the use of MS window server environments and various CAD, database, MS Office and Web enabled applications. Must be capable of updating or repairing computer systems. The incumbent must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines. Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and possess a valid, state issued driver's license.
