Position Summary The MD O&M Technical Lead will be responsible for managing and leading the MD O&M Team, providing systems engineering (to include troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance) of missile defense hardware, electronics, and peripherals within a lab facility environment and overseeing material logistics. Successful candidate will be expected to perform duties as a "working Lead" performing systems engineering roles during testing events and day-to-day operations. Responsibilities Manage and maintain configuration management of all Missile Defense (MD) Test & Evaluation (T&E) systems and software located in all BTS and Combined Test Bed (CTB) spaces, including storage buildings and/or containers and any future lab expansion. Support the management of unclassified plant property and classified material. Maintain an accurate inventory of all assets, provide status reports, and assist with NIWC Pacific's required annual inventories. Oversee the design and build of unclassified & classified T&E computer systems and related infrastructure. Manage pre-installation and post-installation checkouts and testing of computer systems and related infrastructure, including having BTS lab spaces ready for operators and/or MD T&E events. Manage systems administration support activities for all unclassified and classified computer systems and printers and perform system administration functions including but not limited to installing and/or upgrading operating systems, application software, security patches, manage Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS), perform Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scanning, Anti-virus scanning, remediate any vulnerabilities, identify and resolve system interoperability problems. Perform hardware maintenance in support of the evaluation of system interoperability for various unclassified and classified T&E computer systems to include periodic preventative maintenance, interface testing, troubleshooting, and repair. Maintenance/repair may consist of the replacement of the motherboard, motherboard sub-components, and peripherals. Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain/repair test tools, in support of T&E events, to include the Data Link Test Tools (DLTT), Link Monitoring and Management Tool (LMMT), Network Systems Integration and Test Environment (NSITE), Command Data Link Management System (CDLMS)/Next Generation C2P (NGC2P), Re-hosted C2P (RC2P), C2P Technology Refresh (C2PTR), C2P Modernization (C2P Mod) and related programs, Simulation Display (SIMDIS) 3-D Analysis Tool Set, Mission Execution and Display Distribution System (MEDDS), and Extron. Identify and resolve interoperability problems with the BTS video data distribution network system, to include, keyboard, video, and mouse (KVM)-over-IP systems, video matrix switch, video teleconferencing (VTC) systems, and related T&E laboratory infrastructure. Oversee the fabrication, configuration, integration and maintenance/repair of Lab's cabling infrastructure. The required cables include, but are not limited to, the following: - Fiber optic multi/single mode cables Cat5/5e and Cat6/6e network cables with RJ-45 connectors

antenna cables Provide project management support to include resource, task, and workflow management, developing cost estimates, budget forecasting, risk assessment & analysis, project change management, communication planning, and configuration management planning. Must be willing to work extended shifts (8-12 hours) outside of normal working hours to include weekends and holidays as required. Normal working are defined as 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Educational Requirements Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from recognized University or should have at least 7 years' experience working with complex communications systems and C4ISR equipment. This position requires an existing U.S. Government DoD granted security clearance/eligibility at the final Secret level. Individuals must maintain the necessary security clearance/eligibility for continued employment. U.S. citizenship is required. Must have experience with test, analysis, and troubleshooting complex communications hardware problems for development and/or modification to C4I system hardware components. Ability to operate effectively in a team environment as well as independently and provide direct interface with customers. Experience with commercial and militarized documentation and configuration management. Four or more years in a C5I or C4I-SR military or DoD environment performing systems engineering functions, testing, system validation and repair. 2 or more years of demonstrated experience in successfully leading, managing and mentoring a team of 6 (or more) people in a military or DoD TDL Testing and Evaluation (T&E) or Real-World Operations (RWO) environment.Preferred:
8 or more years' experience operating in a DoD operations and management environment. 8 or more years' experience providing systems hardware and software support coordination and integration of system upgrades and engineering changes to maintain fielded and engineering baselines. 8 or more years' experience providing C4ISR technical-based solutions and implementing engineering methodologies to ensure operational availability and sustainment of systems during integration and mission execution 6 or more years fabricating Ethernet and serial cables Familiarity with Extron Architectures desired.Special Knowledge Skills:
