Job Description

CTG is seeking a certified Epic Professional Billing (PB) Build Analyst with 3+ years of hands-on build experience to support the design, configuration, and optimization of Epic PB applications. This role is critical to ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant professional billing workflows across the revenue cycle. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Epic PB configuration, claims and charge workflows, and reimbursement processes, along with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, build, configure, and maintain Epic Professional Billing (PB) application components Collaborate with revenue cycle stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into system build and workflow improvements Support key PB functions including charge capture, claims creation, edits/scrubbing, reimbursement workflows, and denial management Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and ongoing optimization initiatives Perform unit testing, integrated testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system accuracy and performance Troubleshoot system issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions Maintain detailed documentation of system build, workflows, and change management processes Support go-live activities and post-go-live stabilization, including on-call support as needed Ensure compliance with payer rules, regulatory standards, and Epic best practices Partner with cross-functional teams (HB, Charge Router, HIM, interfaces, reporting) to support end-to-end revenue cycle integration Required Qualifications Epic Professional Billing (PB) Certification (required) 3+ years of Epic PB build experience , including hands-on configuration and support Strong understanding of professional billing workflows and revenue cycle processes Experience with claims processing, reimbursement, and denial management Experience with system upgrades, enhancements, and full testing cycles Proven ability to troubleshoot complex billing and system issues Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and operational stakeholders Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75.00 to $80.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
