We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented BenAdmin Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support the configuration and maintenance of our benefits administration platform. This mid-level role is ideal for someone with experience beyond entry-level tasks who is ready to handle more complex configuration scenarios and in-depth troubleshooting. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our benefits processes. Each BenAdmin Specialist is a vital member of our production teams, providing: System Configuration Configure and maintain benefit plans, eligibility rules, contribution strategies, and enrollment events within the BenAdmin platform. Build and modify plan structures, plan tiers, and dependent coverage options based on plan design and business requirements. Translate benefit plan documents and broker requirements into logical and accurate system configurations. Assist with the annual open enrollment process, including system preparation, configuration updates, and testing. Test and validate new or updated configurations to ensure they align with intended business outcomes and deliver a smooth employee experience. Identify and implement opportunities to improve system performance, streamline processes, and reduce manual effort through automation and smarter configuration. Advanced Troubleshooting Research and resolve complex issues related to benefits eligibility, plan elections, event processing, and system-calculated contributions. Conduct root cause analysis and proactively address recurring errors or inefficiencies. Partner with internal teams to escalate and resolve issues impacting benefits administration, employee access, or data integrity. Collaboration Work closely with brokers and sales teams to support benefits administration needs and ensure system alignment with broader HRIS processes. Collaborate with benefits brokers to clarify plan requirements and confirm accurate plan builds. Serve as a subject matter expert regarding system capabilities and configuration logic. We are looking for people with: 2-4 years of experience in benefits technology, with a focus on configuration and system administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; comfortable working with structured data. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams Strong knowledge of core benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary benefits) and compliance requirements (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with open enrollment processes and ACA compliance reporting. Experience in Employee Navigator a plus.
