Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Configuration Analyst (Level 2 or Level 3) to support a highly regulated program within a closed-area, onsite environment in Boulder, CO. This role is a key driver of configuration and data management activities, ensuring product baselines, technical documentation, and contractual deliverables are accurately maintained and delivered on schedule. The Configuration Analyst will work cross-functionally with Program Leadership, Engineering, DevOps, Technical SMEs and the end customer to manage configuration baselines, oversee change control processes, and ensure program milestones and customer deliverables are met. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical writing capability, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, meeting-heavy environment with high visibility to Program leadership, deliverables and milestones. This position may be filled at either a Level 2 or Level 3 based on qualifications and experience. This is a 9 month contract-to-hire supporting the prime.
Pay Range:
~$75,000-140,000 annually. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefits eligibility on day one of employment - Package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching (vesting period applies). Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable state law.________________________________________ Key Responsibilities
  •  Support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and related processes, including Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Trouble Reports (TRs), and Drawing Revision Notices (DRNs)
  •  Process Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Requests for Variance (RFVs)
  •  Capture, manage, and audit product configuration baselines (Functional, Allocated, and Product)
  •  Conduct configuration status accounting, audits, and data integrity scans
  •  Prepare, manage, and deliver customer and supplier contractual deliverables (CDRLs, SDRLs, ESTRLs, DALs) in accordance with program milestones
  •  Generate and maintain static program reporting required by the customer (non-financial)
  •  Support Defect Review Boards (DRBs) and production/sustainment reviews
  •  Develop, release, and verify technical data and media, ensuring proper markings and compliance
  •  Assist with certification data packages for test events and customer engagements
  •  Conduct peer and document reviews of classified and unclassified technical materials
  •  Support Agile PI planning, Scrum team activities, and Jira-based workflows
  •  Maintain configuration management plans, procedures, and support internal/external audits
  •  Collaborate closely with Program Directors, Engineering Leadership, DevOps, and technical stakeholders
  •  Identify opportunities to improve CM/DM processes, efficiency, and quality

  •  Active, in-scope Secret security clearance (required to start)
  •  Bachelor's degree with 2-9+ years of relevant Configuration Management (CM) or Data Management (DM) experience
  •  Experience managing customer and supplier deliverables (CDRLs/SDRLs)
  •  Experience working configuration management in a highly regulated environment (data integrity checks, audits and compliance)
  •  Strong technical writing and documentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  •  Strong communication skills with the ability to work across engineering, program, leadership teams and government customer
  •  Highly methodical, organized, and detail-oriented
  •  Experience supporting Agile programs
  •  Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business/Project Management, Computer Information Systems, or Sciences & Analytics preferred
  •  Experience translating contractual requirements into program execution
  •  Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
  •  Experience using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
  •  Familiarity with
ANSI/EIA 649 CM/DM
standards
  •  Experience supporting and presenting at program and customer reviews
