This role is responsible for inventory data and system controls, ensuring that item setup and system configurations effectively support inventory processes. Working across Procurement, Operations, Finance, and suppliers, this role supports a controlled, data-driven capability that delivers measurable cost and operational improvements. This position reports to the Procurement Operations Manager.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus. Job Posting DeadlineApplications for this position will be accepted until July 1, 2026. Essential Job Functions / Key Responsibilities Item Master Ownership & Data Governance (Core Accountability)Own creation, maintenance, and standardization of all item master records (descriptions, units of measure (UOM), categories, pricing, supplier linkage)Establish and enforce enterprise item naming conventions, classification structures, and data standardsManage full item lifecycle (creation, updates, rationalization, deactivation of obsolete items), while identifying and resolving data quality issuesInventory Operations & Control EnablementEnable and maintain inventory controls including par levels, reorder points, and replenishment logicSupport and validate inventory transactions (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, cycle counts)Ensure accurate inventory tracking, valuation, and reconciliation across systemsAnalytics, Insights & Performance ManagementDevelop dashboards and reporting to provide visibility into inventory health, performance and financial impactTranslate data into actionable recommendations to reduce waste, optimize inventory levels, and improve marginsSupport Finance with inventory valuation accuracy and reportingSupplier, Catalog & System EnablementMaintain supplier-item relationships, including pricing, pack sizes, and ordering configurationsSupport catalog enablement and item availability for inventory items within CoupaValidate supplier data and ensure alignment with item master and purchasing processesProcurement Modernization & Coupa Inventory EnablementSupport implementation, testing, and optimization of inventory capabilities within Coupa and support rollout, adoption, and stabilization of inventory processesProcess Standardization & Continuous ImprovementDocument and standardize inventory processes, policies, controls and identify inefficiencies and gaps in inventory workflows and recommend improvements while working to drive adoption of best practicesOther duties as assignedQualificationsEducation & Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience in lieu of degree (Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field)1+ years of experience in inventory management, item master data, procurement operations, or supply chain analyticsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExperience with inventory, ERP, or procurement systems (e.g., Coupa or similar)Experience in inventory-intensive environments (hospitality, retail, food service) preferredStrong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, consistency, and controlAbility to proactively identify and resolve data integrity issuesStrong understanding of inventory concepts (par levels, replenishment, usage tracking, valuation)Ability to connect item setup to operational workflows and real-world usageAwareness of key risks: overstocking, stockouts, shrink, and wasteAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)Ability to analyze trends, identify root causes, and recommend solutionsStrong ability to translate data into business insightsAbility to support system configuration, testing, and adoptionAbility to act as subject matter expert for inventory and item master within the S2P environmentAbility to work effectively with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and suppliersClear communication of data issues, requirements, and process changesService-oriented mindset with strong responsiveness and follow-throughBalances individual accountability with team collaboration to achieve collective outcomesAdditional InformationWork Environment & Physical DemandsAbility to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movementsNo adverse or hazardous conditionsNot required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistanceJob Benefits This position is classified as a regular full-time position eligible for the following benefits: Enrollment dates differ across the various programs.
