Microsoft Project Full Job Description Technical Project Manager About GuROO:
At GuROO our mission is to deliver Enterprise Network Engineering, Enterprise IT, Program Management, and Project Management support to large commercial corporations, government agencies, and government-contracted agencies within the Washington, DC metropolitan area and beyond. We have an innovative approach to helping our customers discover, evaluate, implement, and manage advanced technology projects to enhance our clients needs. Position is at the Pentagon working for the Joint Staff. Leads IPT team on Small/large projects or significant segment of large complex projects. Analyzes new and complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components. Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, stakeholders and project sponsor. Generates all acquisition documentation required for submittal to government contracting office. Reviews requirements to define project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Responsibilities & Duties include, but are not limited to: Good communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with senior levels of management. Ability to support engineering projects for new service design, implementation, and integration into Operations. Write reports and briefings for executive leadership and to respond to inquiries into program performance and status. Serve client as a trusted adviser and technical sounding board for the evaluation of current specific projects and help inform the strategic direction of the portfolio as a whole Serve as technical representative for product demonstrations and briefings, as directed by client Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for manipulating data and creating executive level reports, briefings, and presentations. Resolve Remedy Incident and Work Order tickets (Will be required to coordinate efforts with other work centers and personnel to resolve Remedy Incidents related to systems and supporting infrastructure.)
Here's What You'll Need:
Knowledge of the government acquisition and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) desired 5 years of experience and direct supervision of technical project management, project integration or telecommunications management Bachelor's Degree or greater Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Current TS/SCI clearance required for this position Experience with
