$115,000 - $130,000 + BonusFounded in the late 1970s, we are a U.S. based engineering and manufacturing company with approximately 250 employees nationwide and a major operational hub in Clearwater, Florida. We design, manufacture, and support advanced satellite communications systems, manpack terminals, fly-away terminals, and ruggedized RF and antenna subsystems used by expeditionary military, federal agencies, and defense customers operating in austere environments. Our Clearwater facility houses engineering, mechanical design, production, testing, and lifecycle support for our SATCOM terminals and related RF and mechanical assemblies. We serve Department of Defense agencies, federal programs, prime defense contractors, and specialized industrial clients requiring secure, reliable, and rapidly deployable communications systems. As the Configuration Manager, you will own the integrity, accuracy, and traceability of all configuration items across the product lifecycle, ensuring disciplined change control, baseline management, and documentation governance for all mechanical, electrical, RF, and system-level designs.

What You Will Be DoingOversee and maintain configuration integrity, accuracy, and traceability for all product baselines, ensuring disciplined control of drawings, BOMs, models, and documentation throughout the lifecycleLead the Engineering Change process, including CCB oversight, ECR review, approval coordination, and implementation while minimizing mission and production impactCoordinate closely with Planning and Production to ensure timely updates to specifications, documentation, and configuration states that support accurate builds and on-time deliverySupervise and mentor the configuration management team, ensuring compliance with CM processes, documentation standards, quality expectations, and schedule commitmentsEnhance, refine, and enforce long-term change management processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards such as AS9100What You Need for This PositionProven experience (10+ years) in configuration management for complex engineered systems, including configuration identification, change control, status accounting, and verificationStrong proficiency with PLM systems such as Windchill or similar, including version control, access control, and structured release workflowsDemonstrated supervisory experience (5 plus years) with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop CM personnel while enforcing process disciplineDeep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and system-level documentation flows within a defense or aerospace manufacturing environment; familiarity with AS9100 and ITAR complianceAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance; excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering, quality, production, and program teamsWhat's In It for YouFull Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD/STD, 401k w/ matching) and more!
