JOB SUMMARY
This position performs desktop and network support to local area network users and is an excellent fit for self-motivated critical thinkers. If you enjoy working with technology and problem solving, this may be the position for you.
Your duties would include:
Analyzing and coordinating resolution of hardware, software, and network communication problems. Assisting with planning and designing of office network layouts. Evaluating the effectiveness of hardware, software, and communication performance. Researching and recommending improvements and solutions. Installing and maintaining an inventory of computers and electronic equipment. Providing training and support to peers and other teams.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Experience communicating verbally and/or in writing, guiding end users through computer related inquiries. Experience with supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams. Two (2) years of work-related experience deploying, supporting, and maintaining, or troubleshooting computer hardware/software. Two (2) years of work-related experience troubleshooting and handling Windows11 in an enterprise environment.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Applicants may meet the minimum qualifications with either a bachelor's degree in computer science or a combination of current A+ and Network+ certifications.
SPECIAL NOTES
This position is part-time telework eligible after training and an acceptable level of proficiency is reached. This position requires local travel to other locations when needed.
