architecture standards and through alignment of digital strategy and solutions to business outcomes, you will optimize the value of our technology investments, creating new value for our staff, our business partners, our shareholders and most importantly - our patients. As a SAP TM Solution Architect you will: Be accountable for helping drive the successful design, architecture, build, test and implementation SAP S/4 Transpiration management solution across all the Amgen manufacturing and distribution sites. Partner with business leads, business engagement teams to support the development of business cases for delivering the IT roadmap and Business strategy Collaborate with Business, Operations IS and ERP solution architects (Order-to-Cash, Record to Report, Source to Settle) for cross functional integrations and E2E solution design. Serve as solution owner for the SAP transportation management solutions within the global ERP architecture team. Lead continuous improvements to drive IT effectiveness with the business and IT Collaborate with business and operations IS teams to identify future business needs and prioritize resources/effort to support the delivery of business-critical projects, enhancements and process improvements. Deliver on portfolio investments and ensure business value outcomes are realized based on prioritized business needs Drive implementation of cross functional initiatives required for regulatory compliance Uses deep business knowledge to drive engagement on major IT initiatives Influence architecture decisions and solution choices with business stakeholders and enterprise architects Manage Implementation vendor to ensure the effective execution of the projects and services, holding them accountable to project scope, SLAs and critical metrics Drive configuration and development activities to meet business requirements through a combination of internal and external teams Ensure all the required functional, configuration and technical design documents of SAP TM capabilities are created in compliance with GxP requirements and ERP architecture standards. Support Validation/QA teams on ensuring GxP compliance of SAP TM capabilities with the corporate standard for IT change management and IT SOPs following 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11 requirements Promotes adoption of SAP industry best practices within in S/4 transportation management and logistics execution workstream. Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of SAP TM implementation experience OR Master's degree and 6 years of SAP TM implementation experience OR Bachelor's degree and 8 years of SAP TM implementation experience OR Associate's degree and 10 years of SAP TM implementation experience OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of SAP TM implementation experience
Preferred Qualifications:
10 to 15 years of experience in SAP Transportation Management with minimum of 3 to 4 end to end S/4 TM implementations. Good understanding of SAP supply chain processes Possess solid knowledge in SAP TM master data, Transportation Requirement Management, Transportation planning and execution, Charge calculation and Freight settlement. Should have adequate knowledge in real time tracking, monitoring, exception handling and analysis of Sales orders, deliveries, shipments (Freight Orders, Units, Parcels, Vehicles, Containers) and freight conditions (e.g. secured transportation) to provide visibility on status, location, history, analytics etc. in production support environment Hands on experience in OTR (order based) & DTR (delivery based) processes, including Selection, Planning profiles, Condition's optimizer planning and scheduling, Freight Execution Carrier selection, Tendering / Subcontracting and Cost distribution. Strong understanding about Inbound and Outbound shipments (Domestic and International), Transportation Load Builder (FTL, LTL), different modes of transports, and Freight Settlement. Experience of integration of TM with other SAP modules like SD, MM, FI, EM, GTS, EHS and EWM. Experience in the integration of SAP TM with Logistics Business Network(LBN), freight collaboration and GTT. Experience on carrier onboarding in LBN/GTT and carrier settings. Contribute to the business through innovation ideas, proof of concepts etc. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
