Direct Client Job Description We are seeking a Senior Rating System Analyst with strong programming and systems analysis experience to support and enhance enterprise underwriting rating systems. The ideal candidate will work on rating algorithms, system configurations, front-end enhancements, output generation, and data structure modifications within a rule-based rating platform. Responsibilities Develop and maintain rating algorithms using Stepwise programming. Perform front-end updates, output modifications, and table structure changes. Translate complex business requirements into application functionality. Collaborate with business owners, IT teams, and vendors to ensure timely project delivery. Configure new system designs and implement updates. Monitor system performance and business functionality. Document, track, and coordinate resolution of system defects and issues. Implement rates, rating formulas, product configurations, and benefit-related updates. Analyze, validate, and maintain data integrity. Research and complete complex projects to ensure business continuity and consistency. Define system scope and objectives based on business requirements. Provide post-implementation support and system maintenance. Support end users through troubleshooting, training, reporting, auditing, and ad hoc requests. Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts. Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst. Strong programming background. Excellent SQL and Excel skills. Experience working with enterprise rating systems or rule-based platforms. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Agile methodologies. Underwriting and/or Actuarial domain experience is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
