Job Description
Jered LLC, a PAR Systems Company, is seeking motivated and curious Information Systems Interns to support active IT and business systems initiatives across infrastructure, applications, data management, and user support. This role provides hands-on exposure to how enterprise systems are maintained, improved, and integrated to support engineering and manufacturing operations.
Interns will work closely with IT, engineering, and business teams to support system updates, troubleshooting, data integrity, and process improvements that enable mission-critical operations for the U.S. Navy and global maritime partners. This is a full-time, onsite role in Brunswick, GA, aligned to summer internships.
Success CriteriaAn Information Systems Intern will be successful in this role by delivering timely and accurate support across user requests, system updates, and troubleshooting efforts while maintaining strong attention to detail. Success in this position also includes demonstrating the ability to quickly learn and apply technical concepts related to infrastructure, enterprise systems, and data management in a hands-on environment. The intern is expected to show strong problem-solving skills by identifying issues, contributing to root cause analysis, and supporting practical solutions. Maintaining data integrity and accountability through accurate system updates and clear documentation is essential. Additionally, success is reflected in effective collaboration and communication with IT, engineering, and business teams, as well as taking ownership of assigned tasks by managing time effectively and meeting deadlines with minimal oversight. A successful intern will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for efficiency and process optimization, while consistently adhering to cybersecurity and compliance standards. Professionalism, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and accept feedback are critical to thriving in this fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
